Michael Kiwanuka has been announced as BBC’s Sound of 2012. The North London soul musician has been compared to Otis Redding, yes Otis Redding! He’s been getting a load of airplay here in the UK and I’m sure this will only increase throughout the year and then throughout the world. Everyone has been talking about him in the music industry for a while and now he’s really getting himself out there and receiving the plaudits that he deserves.
A few of his songs are available on iTunes and Spotify. But his album is due for release here in the UK on the 26th March this year.
