Just when you might be missing Tom Cruise on your cinema screen we’re about to get three of his films in quick succession. Jack Reacher is out in the UK on Boxing Day and his next film ‘Oblivion’ has also dropped its first trailer.
‘Oblivion’ is set 60 years after an alien attack rendered planet Earth uninhabitable. Cruise stars as a drone repairmen who travels down to the supposedly deserted planet and discovers a secret population. Tom Cruise stars alongside Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, Melissa Leo and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko. The UK release date is April 12th 2013.
Tom Cruise, currently in the UK promoting his upcoming film ‘Jack Reacher’ was at the Manchester Derby match yesterday at the Etihad Stadium. He had been recommended to attend by his friend David Beckham and attended with Jack Reacher co-star Robert Duvall. Cruise is also filming another film ‘All You Need Is Kill’ at Leavesden Studios, Hertfordshire – the first film to be filmed there since Harry Potter.
