The sight landing the no.1 title, and therefore the most popular winter hotspot of them all, hails from Bern, Switzerland. The old town has racked up a staggering 1,082,440 hashtags across Instagram! Second on the list, we go across the ocean to Colorado, U.S. to the Aspen mountains. Hashtagged 935,040 times, this location reigns as providing the best sights in the world for skiers and snowboarders this winter.

The other countries in the top 10 include Norway with the spectacle of the Northern Lights, France with Chamonix (home to the largest glacier in France, the Mer de Glace), Slovenia with the famous town of Bled, and the Czech Republic with the medieval town of Cesky Krumlov.
