What it’s really like inside these iconic TV homes…

Whether it’s an iconic local pub or a house from the Stone Age, we’re all desperate to get a sneak peek inside the homes of our favourite fictional TV characters. With this in mind, Harvey’s Furniture have gone behind the scenes to find out what it’s really like on set – uncovering the floorplans to some world-famous TV sets.

To give fans a glimpse into the world of fiction, along with inspiration for redesigning their homes, they created real-life floor plans for these much-loved family homes. The full information can be found here:- https://www.harveysfurniture.co.uk/blog/tv-family-floor-plans/

The Addams Family – Addams Family Mansion

One of the freakiest families on our screens, The Addams Family have resided at their creep Mansion at No.1 Cemetery Lane for decades. Seemingly unaware of their own strangeness, they’ve been giving us goose bumps since 1964. The family home is huge – with a grand hallway and magnificent lounge.

Coronation Street – Rovers Return Inn

Sitting on the cobbles of Coronation Street, the Rovers Return has been the beating heart of Weatherfield for decades. The pub has had its fair share of drama, from brawls to births, it’s all happened in the Rovers. Surprisingly, it’s the pub toilets that have been confusing viewers, as the orientation of the set would appear to suggest they inhabit the Barlow’s home.

Family Guy – The Griffin Family Home

Home to one of TV’s most dysfunctional families, 31 Spooner Street has seen its fair share of indecency and hijinks over the years. And yet, the Griffin residence is as recognisable now as it was in 1998. Bryan, Chris, Peter and Stewie vomited a total of 21 times between them in the middle of the family lounge, after intentionally consuming ipecac, a rapid-acting emetic serum.

The Flintstones – Fred & Wilma Flintstone’s House

The town of bedrock might be history, but 301 Cobblestone Way is etched into the TV hall of fame. All of Fred and Barney’s misadventures started here and Wilma was already ready to bang their heads together at the end of the day.
