Released: 31st October (UK)
Silent Hill is one of my all time favourite video games, which left me literally heartbroken when the film adaption of the movie sucked so badly. But, never one to hold a grudge (or maybe just a gluten for punishment), I was quite delighted when thy decided to have another crack at it. Silent Hill Revelation has Adele Clemens (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones) taking the lead parts, but this time they have got Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings), Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange) and Carrie Ann Moss (The Matrix) with them to add some credibility.
The plot focuses on Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Bean) who have been attempting to run away from their past, specifically what happened to her mother Rose in the first film. Eventually the father is taken and Heather and her friend Vincent (Harrington) take to Silent Hill to rescue him from the horrors that have stalked Heather’s dreams since she was a kid. Cue many horrors and monster type figures and you’ve got Silent Hill Revelation. Wether or not it is a revelation, will be down to you…
