iPhone 6s and 6s Plus with 12MP iSight Camera launched

The month of September is well known to be the period of time when Apple will announce a new device. Last September debuted the marvelous iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and this month they welcome their modified siblings, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Same as their predecessors, the iPhone 6s comes in 4.7 inch size and the 6s Plus is larger, 5.5 inch.

iPhone 6s houses a 4.7 inch IPS Retina display with a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels, and its screen is protected by world’s strongest glass ever featured in a mobile device. A special process that consists in dual ion-exchanges makes the glass stronger at a molecular level, even though the glass is very durable, I wouldn’t suggest dropping it.

At the back side of the handset is located the large 12-megapixel iSight camera with five-element lens and a pack of additional features. Such as f/2.2 aperture lens, True Tone flash, face detection, autofucus with Focus Pixels, auto image stabilization and optical image stabilization. The last feature is supported only for the iPhone 6s Plus. If the rear camera is stunning, just see what the front-facing 5.0-megapixel FaceTime camera houses. It comes with Retina flash at the front side, f/2.2 aperture lens, face detection and more.

The rear camera allows you to shoot incredible photos and videos at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K). You can shoot stunning and mind-blowing photos and videos with the both quality cameras, create time-laps videos and all your creation will be stored at iCloud Photo Gallery.

The technology that allows the device to recognize more than one points of contact on its surface was introduced by Apple. This technology was named multi-touch, with the introduction of iPhone 6s and its larger sibling, Apple has brought the new technology called 3D Touch. The multi-touch technology consists in three gestures, tap, swipe and pinch. While 3D Touch brings the Peek and Pop gestures. Peek and Pop enable to you to preview a file, website, location and more without having to open it. By this, you’ll get to know the content of a file or site without visiting it, just peek into it and if you wanna go there, press your finger a little deeper and you just popped. The basic purpose of Peek and Pop is to not only let you see what you tap but to make you feel it.

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come running in two processors, the Apple’s powered A9 processor and the M9 co-processor stands there to backup the device and burst its speed. There are 2GB of RAM and different models categorized by the size of internal storage. Models have 16/64/128 GB of storage, pricing is also variable based in the memory. And the greatest feature that highlights this new phone and gives it the title of “smartphone” is the iOS 9. With new improvement and smarter it comes with a pack of built-in apps, faster performance, and support of the most secure online payment method via a mobile device, the Apple Pay. Apple Pay is closely connected with Touch ID featured on the iPhone, simply by your fingerprint, you will be able to unlock your device and make secure payments via Apple Pay, no more tapping of your bank details every time that you want to buy something online.

The new iPhone 6s is made of 7000 Series aluminum, a technology that so far was used only in aerospace industry. This material makes the phone durable and resistant, with its sleek body and seamless design on the four of the edges, iPhone 6s will come in colors of Silver, Space Gray, and Rose Gold.

Starting by 25th of this September, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be available for orders, while until then, you may pre-order it at Apple Retail Store, for the UK customers may try to reach out the latest Apple iPhone via Slick2Buy retailer. iPhone 6s Plus with 16GB storage will cost you $749, 64GB costs $849 and the 128GB of memory model $949. The 6s has the same pricing, by a reduction of $100 per model.
