One of the perks of having teen girls is their obvious passion for fashion.
They also have fab ideas for makeup nails and hair, constantly reading blogs and searching online to help and inspire them whilst on a budget.

Over the weekend my daughter was trying out a new technique of Chalking where using everyday chalk on hair gives an amazing colour that washes right back out again.
We had rainbow hair, blocks of colour, chalked braids, coloured tips…..you name it we did it.
She shared it with her best friend whos got an amazing blog (I’ll link blogs at the bottom) for How to…chalk your hair  Dazedandbeautiful blog (May 26 post) 😀
She has lots of other fab ideas shared in this wee blog too. Worth a look and a bookmark.
Another trend the teens are sporting are the funky nails, from Cath Kidston inspired to campervans, these arty kids are where it’s at. From clean nails to the design in place, it’s easier than you think.
(again all included in the blogs below)
Hairstyles are huge, from pixie cuts to deep sided fringes, their love of pompadour flicks, rough buns and rag rolled spirals. The teens are influencing each other quicker than some of the big companies.
(bubzbeauty on youtube is very inspiring re beauty tips and hair)

Fashion styles and influences. Charity shop buys, sewing machines out, to change or re-hash. The use of accesories. Bargains converted with cutting and tie dying
…..using their capsule wardrobe collection and inspiring many looks.
I’m excited with what our teens are doing. They are todays inspiration and tomorrows marketplace. I love their confidence and their desire to be themselves thru fashion, makeup and style.
I have only scraped the surface when it comes to teens and their creativity. check out the blogs and links below and see how inspired and creative you can be.
So, some blogs that influence my teens and also inspire me…..
