You might already know this but the film, The Wizard of Oz is heading to IMAX cinemas later this year as part of celebrating the film’s 75th birthday!
I’m only in my thirties but it still makes me feel old to think about how old this film is and how many times I have watched it already in my lifetime. I am really looking forward to seeing the film on the big screen, it is hard to tell as we are watching this trailer in 2D as to what it will be like. Crisper and more colourful is the way others have gone when they have been put back onto the screen.
I am unsure about the IMAX treatment for a film like this but time will tell.

This might be a step too far for some avid Wizard of Oz fans but it also provides a great chance to introduce this film to younger generations. Admittedly this should form part of everyone’s childhood but at least it might be a bit more guaranteed.
