You may remember us reviewing Cotton Bag Co’s Selfie Bag back in 2018 and now they have an updated version. It is a influencer/blogger/teenager dream of a bag. Which I still have and use, they are really good quality bags as well as having all the selfie perks too!

I was excited to hear that there was a new bag and did keep away from taking a peek on the Cotton Bag Co website before it arrived. When the bag arrived I was firstly intrigued over their packaging. Obviously everything could be recycled which was amazing but it was a striking design and soon enough I realised that this packaging matched the bag! Oh I loved it. Also so did my 8 year old who hovered around me opening the parcel as she pretended to be doing something else.
Now this time there were extra goodies, there was a bluetooth tripod selfie stick and also a LED ring light. These were opened very quickly by my daughter and she straight away wanted to set up the tripod and get the ring light charged. The selfie stick was really easy to set up and we had great fun using it in the garden – it did then rain but anyway, plenty of fun!
As I had mentioned in my previous review, the bag is super handy and especially now when we need to have our own bags. It can handle a lot of weight too and is one of my favourite bags to shop with because it’s a good size and can take heavy items too. I love that there is a new design on this one but I love them both! At least I can keep an ‘eye’ on where they are as the kids are going to want them!
Here is what is inside;
- There is a Bluetooth tripod selfie stick: get the perfect angle with a Bluetooth selfie stick to connect to your phone. This selfie stick is perfect for group photos, holiday snaps and for when you want to get your whole outfit in the pic.
- Pocket for valuables: a re-usable bag isn’t quite complete unless you have a place to hold your phone, keys and money whilst out and about.
- Zip top: the whole bag has a zip across the top for added security and so that you can be rest assured that nothing will come tumbling out
- Pop up reflector: to get the perfect lighting for your selfies we’ve included a pop-up reflector which comes tucked up in its own mini bag.
- LED ring light: if the reflector doesn’t quite cut it, then give the LED ring light a go. This ring light handily attaches to the top of your phone, plus it comes with a lead to charge and has 3 settings so you’re sure to get just the perfect lighting.

I love that the pop up reflector comes with it’s own bag. Also how useful that bag could be now to store face masks in it. Because let’s face it my children are so keeping the tripod and ring light! Also as a bit of an expert with pop up reflectors (I have bought several through my blogging years) and just being unable to get them back into the bag! Pretty much like me trying to get anything back into its original box.

The bag is £27.95 and it might appear a lot at first but their bags are long lasting, durable and my favourite bag to take out shopping. Now you get extra goodies with the bag which make this even more useful – great distraction for everyone this summer!
Things are pretty different in the world right now but my teenager loves this bag. Admittedly she is mostly using it at home or for trips to the shop but it’s such an all round great gift.
The updated version is amazing and I now have two favourite bags to use for my shopping – if I can find them 😉
