Maria Sharapova recently launched her Australian Open dress (see pic above), the launch was part of her eight year deal with Nike. This deal with Nike is set to earn Sharapova $70 million. The previous record for a sportswoman was held by Venus Williams and her deal with Reebok and that was $43 million.
Sharapova seems to be taking the same route that Anna Kournikova did and following a career off the tennis court. I can’t blame her either, I admit I have a girl crush on Maria so why shouldn’t she flaunt what she’s got?
Also excited to see more of the fashion line that she has collaborated with Cole Haan. The below picture shows a nod into the “Black Swan” fashion scene that has been used by so many designers at the moment.
