WALL-E the movie is about WALL-E the cutest lil robot you’ve ever clamped eyes on….. Pixars 2008 release; a computer-animated science fiction film, produced by Pixar and directed by Andrew Stanton 😀
The story follows WALL-E, a robot who is designed to clean up a waste covered Earth far in the future. His detail to his role and watching him work is breathtaking and a delight 🙂 He then meets EVE a modern little robot, that he pronounces Eva. WALL-E is besotted by her and falls in love with the whole modern robotic package, so much so that he leaves his beloved Earth behind and follows her into outer space. The significance of his adventure in outer space changes the destiny of both his kind and humanity.
The most moving part of this animation is the lack of conversation, it is completely communicated to the audience by body language and robotic sound effects. And yet the story is told seamlessly. You cannot help but fall in love with the characters and don’t even notice the lack of ‘verbal conversation’ so engrossed are you in the movie as a whole.
It grossed $521.3 million worldwide and WALL-E ranks first in TIMES ‘best movies of the decade’
My favourite character are;
W-waste
A-allocation
L-load
L-lifter
–
E-earth class
Wall-e is a sentient 700 yr old robot and appears to be the last working model on Earth. He is a small compact box with all terrain treads, 3 finger shovel hands and binocular eyes. He is curious, lonely and kind hearted, he has a pet cockroach named Hal and loves music 😀
E-extraterrestrial
V-vegetation
E-evaluator
Eve started as a very cold robot only interested in her mission. With her White egg shaped body and blue LED eyes with an ability to levitate, she captures wall-es attention, and his sweetness thaws her heart and opens up her emotions
Once again this is a film that will appeal to all ages. Pixars done it again with this little piece of sic-fi genius
