Need a quick way to send pics, contacts’ information or apps to a friend? Then I would highly recommend the application Bump. The app’s description says it best so here’s the segment:
“Bump makes sharing with people as simple as bumping two phones together. Just pick what you want to send, then hold your phones and gently bump hands with another Bump user. Share photos, apps and contacts. And after you bump, keep sending messages any time, anywhere, complete with instant notifications.”
It’s extremely easy. Once you’ve made an account, you simply choose what type of data you want to send and to whom. By doing this, the app organizes the content you upload and as well as the friends you connect with for future, accessible reference. From there, you literally bump fists with who you’re sending something to (both of you must hold your phones in your hands) while the data transmits from one phone to the other. Soon enough, the job is complete.
Don’t ask me how it’s done because I have no clue. But everyone I’ve told to download this app loves it as much as I do. It always works like a charm. And the best part, I think, is that this app works across different platforms– Androids, iPhones, iPads and so on. So there’s no exclusivity amongst the variety of smartphones available.
All in all, this kind of technology is really cool. I have a feeling that sharing information like this will become a new standard in digital media because it’s fast, easy and fun. No complaints from me on that!
If you haven’t started bumping yet, be sure to start now!
