Released: 13th July
Everyone’s favourite prehistoric pixelated pals are back for their fourth adventure, Continental Drift. All the usual gang are back for the latest release, which sees the furry friends set sail on an iceberg for pastures new after their continent, surprisingly, drifts away from the mainland. This opens them up to all kinds of gapes, and allows new characters, with celebrity voiceovers, to be introduced into the mix. New celebs lending their voices include Peter Drinklage (Game of Thrones), Nick Frost (Sean of the Dead), Jennifer Lopez (erm….), Nicki Minaj (nothing, ever) and Patrick Stewart (X-Men). The other three films have been massive box office hits, and speaking from a purely film-critic point of view, they’ve been blooming decent films to boot. So, expect the usual amount of laughs, tears, screams, thrills and fur-balls as Ice Age: Continental Drift floats onto your screens.
