With our very popular series looking back at Disney Pixar movies, it is also good and rather exciting to look forward as well. Monsters, Inc like many other Disney Pixar favourites captured both the young and old alike. Also I think this is the most anticipated sequel since the original Toy Story film.
Monsters, Inc has reviewed here is a popular favourite amongst the DW team and we’re sure that the sequel will be as popular. Actually the film is actually a prequel and will be going back to when Mike and Sully were not the best of friends and were actually enemies. The movie will go back to when they were at Monsters University and in training.
Actors John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, Jennifer Tilly, Frank Oz, and John Ratzenberger will all be back for this prequel. James Coburn died before they begun production on Monsters University so Henry J. Waternoose III will be voiced by Kelsey Grammar.
Brave is still the main focus on the Pixar website which I will be reviewing next week. There is at the moment just a link to the Monsters University trailer but in time the website will focus on this latest Pixar creation with many games and activities. If you’re a big Pixar geek like us then I recommend having a look through the “behind the scenes” features tab at the top. Some great Pixar insights in there. Monsters University is set for release on June 21st 2013 and I’ve been seeing this graphic appear on most social networks which sums up my feelings of anticipation for this film;
Yep. Definitely sums up my feelings about the movie. Sadly there will be no Boo in this one maybe she will be back for Monsters, Inc 3? I hope so, the little cutie.
