This is the first of our weekly round-up posts of our favourite links from the Internet. We should have done this starting from last weekend but we were hungover/lying that it was a bank holiday/only coming up with this idea this week.
So anyway this week;
1. Tom McFly (real surname Fletcher) was making even more girls swoon with his wedding speech idea. Seriously if you’re not already married, anything you guys do has got to beat this…

2. It was David Bowie’s birthday (and I’m sure lots of other people had a birthday this week too) and to celebrate he revealed his new single. Wasn’t entirely keen at the start but it’s growing on me.
3. Footballers won awards. Balloons. Probably had a party of some sort. We weren’t invited, we cried for days. We didn’t even get sent cake!

4. Everyone loves to break rules. So how about breaking some grammar rules. Go on, be naughty!
5. One of these days we’d like to be on one of these type of infographics. One day 🙂
6. Have you set any New Year’s resolutions? We’re quite a fan of these technology themed ones. Although I’ve definitely broken no 5 every single night…
7. The London Underground was 150 years old this week and did you know you can have London Underground furniture made? I quite fancy one of those London Underground cushions.
8. One of our favourite beauty bloggers wrote about being more assertive as a blogger after a recent experience. Something we can relate to in terms of our own site and some of the emails we get.
9. This article has to go in our best links as I read the headline wrong. I thought it said ‘Keep a snake in your bedroom…’
10. One of our favourite pinterest finds this week which ties well with the bucket list post that we will have on DW soon.
