Yet again, I’m starting my post this week by complaining about Louise. Her irritation increases every week!
This week, she claimed that Spencer’s imposition of control over her, despite them not being together anymore, through vetoes of who she can’t date, was “cute”. It’s only “cute” if he’s actually considering her feelings for once and vetoing himself so she won’t get hurt anymore! But in true Spencer style, he instead tells her that if she has to get with anyone, it might as well be him. He doesn’t miss a trick does he?! Unfortunately, it seems that Louise succumbed to this ‘charm’, as Spencer claimed that they’ve been frequently hooking up since their traumatic break-up!
I hope that Louise will finally get some backbone and leave Spencer for good after he put his hands up and admitted to cheating on her in her own bed. This is after being confronted by both Louise (in last week’s episode) and then Stevie and Andy in the street this week; Andy mentions the rumour and is met with a look of disgust from Spencer as he spits the “accusation is ridiculous”. His hypocrisy is wiped from his face when Stevie raises his voice (for the first time ever, I thought he was mute) and reminds Spencer that he was there on that notorious night, and was actually the receiver of Spencer’s ‘bragging’ the next morning.
I’ve included an image of Spencer’s face at this very moment, so you can enjoy it as much as me.
Aside from the whole Louise-Spencer shenanigans, the Jamie-Louise confrontation exploded this week, leaving Jamie in tears (a sure sign of guilt, surely?). Yes, renowned ‘boi’ and immature “tit” (as brilliantly summarised by Mummy Felstead) actually has feelings for Tara, and has even uttered the forbidden L word! I don’t think this new found maturity means Lucy’s claims about the hot-tub night are fabricated however. Yes, Lucy is a bit of a cow at times, and I’m not sure if her revelations to Binky and Mummy Felstead over their champagne lunch were true, but I’m certain the kiss happened.
It seems that this week was the worst week in the history of humanity for couples in Chelsea, as Ollie and Ashley broke up! (I think). I say “I think”, because it appeared to me more of a heat in the moment tiff which will be resolved by next week. But nevertheless, a shocker for Chelsea’s newest loved up pair. Things disintegrated quickly because of one factor: Ollie is still very close to his friend Oscar. Two guys sharing a bed is a bit weird anyway, but when one is a self-confessed bisexual who has an indecisive nature, it’s not hard to see why Ashley was so upset and angry. I didn’t expect her foul language-ridden outburst though; she’s definitely come out of her shell!
Of course, this outburst wasn’t completely random. As with all Made In Chelsea confrontation, it began with a civilised dinner party which escalated into bitter digs and revelations. And, as per, this was made much worse by Cheska having to have her say and attempt to get some kind of sympathy. Not exactly what Ashley expected from her first meeting with Ollie’s best friends Oscar and Richard.
I dislike both Oscar and Richard. Oscar, despite being on my TV screen for 5 minutes at most, has convinced me he is the most smarmy, arrogant “tit” that has ever existed (yes, even more so than Spencer Matthews). And as for Richard, he is the evidence for the stereotype of the eccentric rich. Who on earth designs a mechanic arm frame to put on your own frame so you can “pick up things”. As Ollie said, “isn’t that what tendons are for?”, Richard? I definitely think he has too much time and too much money.
So there we have it: three sparring couples, a crazy rich inventor and more than one “tit” who “needs a slap”. Step forward, and save this farce, Mummy Felstead!
