This week we find out about Utelly from Sean Perkins
Utelly is the smartest TV app out there! It will help you find a show across live and on-demand TV, recommend the hottest new TV (if you need some inspiration), and control your set-top box (Sky, Virgin Media TiVo) or Smart TV. This latest version of the product works for anyone in the UK and, so far, has scored 4.5/5 in the Apple app store.
Utelly offer a mobile-first solution to customers who are frustrated with how fiddly it is to find what to watch on TV. The Utelly iOS app for iPhone is our first product, and we launched it at the end of 2014. In terms of previous press, we’re winners of the inaugural BT Infinity Lab competition – check that out here – and we also featured in research firm Beauhurst’s report 7 Secret Startups Set to Make a Splash.
