30 things from September
- I got a new coat and it’s the driest I’ve ever been on any walk. It’s a must for the winter. Honestly. Essential buy.
- Second essential buy heading into the colder months was an electric blanket. Honestly forever you’ll find me snuggled up with this over the next couple of months.
- Taken September as a ‘school year refresh’ although I’m a long way out of school now but I treat September as my ‘new year’ and our instagram is getting a refresh in October. Follow now.
- I need to start sourcing ideas for gift guides but I feel it’s also a little early. Halloween first.
- Speaking of Halloween, I feel every year it becomes more and more big and already 2024 feels massive. If you need any ideas we have a list of stuff here for you.
- Strictly is back!
- September I managed a couple of trips to the cinema, I saw Beetlejuice 2, The Critic and Lee.
- Going back to keeping warm, I do a lot of standing in the cold and rain watching football so I got these and they are keeping my pockets and hands toasty.
- And… obviously sweatshirt season is now.
- Whilst I’m long away from school… it has been a delight to have my kids starting new years at school. They are both grown up enough to walk to school now but also obviously need Mum taxi every now and then.
- Started collecting conkers because I need to have them in every corner to stop the spiders!
- Still haven’t yet put the heating on yet…
- I’m looking through the vast list of advent calendars this year and there is so many that I want.
- I find autumn makes me want to do more crafts and this is one of my favourite ones.
- I bought a Nintendo Switch Lite so that I could get more into my cosy era.
- I love finding new autumn walks, all the colourful trees and crunchy leaves.
- Do I need a dehumidifier?
- Cosy weather needs cosy recipes.
- Lego takes a WHOLE new emphasis I find in the colder months.
- Also I love a puzzle.
- Have started playing more solo solitaire card games but also want to learn more card games for 2+ players.
- Cashback from shopping. Don’t sleep on this, it’s amazing how much money you can get just by doing your normal amount of shopping. I live for anything extra!
- Our Pinterest stats go up and down throughout the year BUT Halloween and Christmas really make our stats zoom high. It’s always such a fun site to make content for too.
- With all the fun colour tints on iOS18 we love making new wallpapers and we have a load HERE.
- Our blog stats are also up which is always good to see. We are posting more daily content now which seems to be a good thing for ranking on google. Hate saying this in case it all goes wrong.
- Premier League season is obviously well underway and each weekend it is giving us all with all our favourite teams all doing well one week and then terrible the next.
- I thought finding 30 things would be difficult but this has been fine.
- Been using threads (on instagram) for another account and the engagement on there is one fire. Adding this into new changes and might create a ‘how to’ kinda guide too.
- I know I keep going on about it but it’s almost Halloween.
