If you are a fan of jaw-dropping graphics, blow-your-mind soundtracks and massively diverse game play, you should probably stop reading right about now. Still here? Cool. If you like simple, time wasting, easy to pick up but incredibly hard to master, graphically obsolete games, then read on my friends. Stickman cliff diving could very well be the game for you.
Stickman cliff diving is the latest in the Stickman game series that has brought you other classics such as Summer games, Rope n Fly, Stickman Stuntbike and Stickman base-jumper. Graphically, it looks like it’s been drawn by a 7 year old during class in the back of their exercise book. But that is the beauty of the Stickman series, is that the graphics aren’t what attracts you to them, it’s the amazingly simple gameplay. Don’t let the simplicity fool you, as its coupled with a depth that is incredibly hard to master.
The idea of the game is that you take on the role of a Stickman Tom Daley type, only he’s swapped the Olympic high board for a cliff. You get given a jump type, a required score and the height of the cliff you are jumping from. Its then up to you to nail the jump and progress to the next round, simples! The controls are basic. You have a button to jump and a button to spin. The trick of the game is that you have to time your spin to nail the required jump and hit the perfect landing. As I said earlier, its really easy to play but becomes painfully obvious its hard to master.
You will probably notice from my other app reviews that I’m a fan of the games that fill the little ten minute void when you are waiting for someone or on your lunch at work. This game ticks all those boxes, and doesn’t disappear up its own bum in a swarm of intense graphics. This definitely gets my seal of approval and a recommended download.
