This is possibly the one that if you were to list all the Disney Pixar films that most people would forget. For me this is as visually captivating as Finding Nemo is. Paris just looks absolutely beautiful as it should, the intricate detail that is used in the kitchen. Oh it’s just beautiful.
So anyway Ratatouille (rat-a-too-ee) is based around Remy the rat who dreams of being a chef which as a rat isn’t very realistic. He ends up in Paris and at the restaurant of his culinary hero, Gusteau. It’s here that Remy makes friends with Linguini the garbage boy and the story soon ends up with Remy helping Linguini cook and soon the restaurant is the talk of Paris. With the voices of Patton Oswalt, Ian Holm, Janeane Garofalo and Peter O’Toole the film just all fits together perfectly.
As for my favourite quotes I have to say the scene where Remy realises how he can help Linguini in the kitchen is the funniest scene and really does make me laugh very loud each time that I see it.
My favourite character would be Emile. I love the fact he’s always eating and how Remy tries to teach him what things he should be eating but he’s not that bothered. He’s just a cute character and I want to give him a hug!
