Made in 2000, a young student is set an assignment to “think of something to change the world and put it into action”. The student decides to put into action the notion of paying a favour not back, but forward–repaying good deeds not with payback, but with good deeds done to three new people. As each person pays it forward x3 the circle gets ever-widening.
Rather than spoil the plot I recommend you watch it with just the title in mind. Imagine if we all lived our lives like this. Imagine the roll on effect.the movie is a very powerful portrayal of what human nature is capable of. I for one, put it’s ethos into action after watching it originally in 2000 and have done ever since.
