What is Arthur’s day
On the 22nd of September at 17:59 (GMT) myself and others all around the world will raise a glass to Arthur 😀
In Ireland north and south there are ticketed Arthur’s day venues, Belfast, Dublin, Limerick and Cork. With band lineups to compliment the partaking of a ‘pint of the black stuff’
Pubs will mark the day, with promotions and inhouse competitions and prizes.

But who is Arthur?
Arthur Guinness was the creator of Guinness in 1759.

This year is the third year of Arthurs day, Â the first (2009) was to celebrate 250 year anniversary of Guinness. From Ireland and Europe to the United States, Caribbean and Asia there are global celebrations planned to mark another year of “Guinness Goodness”
