Say what you like about me, whilst I’m ever drawn to melancholy music sung by skinny men with too long fringes and twangly guitars, I do love a happy song and this is a lovely happy song. It just makes me smile.
I adore this video. There’s absolutely nothing to say about it and it’s quite obvious what they were going to here, with all the Bollywood glamour.
This song received very high critical acclaim, praised for its sweetness and danceability (is that a word? It is now.) The lyrics were sung by Kele Le Roc, and to this day remains one of the groups highest charting hits and best-loved songs. This is my go-to hit for doing the housework.
