The internet loves a rumour doesn’t it?
The last few days there have been a few rumours that Adele has been asked by the Puffin publishing house to write a children’s book. It is not yet clear if Adele has taken up the idea/offer but websites seem to be linking her name straight away to J.K. Rowling’s popularity.
Of course Adele is a very famous, popular and talented woman known for her musical talent and her curvy figure. That last part is what I love most, gives us – those with a more curvy figure something to feel more happy in ourselves about. I also love her music, in the right mood I should add. Never listen to Adele when you’re upset, of if you do have chocolate on standby.
Madonna, Ricky Gervais and David Walliams have all had big successes in children’s fiction and Puffin are said to be sure that Adele is their next book star. It is not clear what kind of children’s book this will be but as Adele has a ten month old son, it is thought that she might draw on memories with her own child.
She is very marketable so it makes sense why Puffin are said to be interested. After her success with the James Bond theme for the film Skyfall it seemed to push her fame into more stellar popularity.
For those who have been waiting for Adele’s next album, the wait for it could be even longer if she decides to concentrate on the book first. But elsewhere on the internet it seems to be that her new album would be out mid – 2014! It could be a massive year for her if she could pull of a book and an album.
As a working mum myself, how does she do it all?
