Music Monday: The Features – From Now On

There does not seem to be an official music video for this song, I apologise for that.

The band are from Tennessee and have been together since 2004. They met at school and began playing cover songs together. This song was featured in the soundtrack for Twilight: Breaking Dawn. It may not be a very good film but I must say I love the soundtrack. The band are closely associated with Kings of Leon and Manchester Orchestra, which I can totally see as their music style is very similar. Heather Phares from AllMusic described this song as “turning the joy of finding a soul mate into energetic pop” which I wholly agree with. It’s an absolutely fabulous song for those days when you’re feeling genuinely delighted with the world.
