5 Things To Consider Before Buying Math Journals For Kids

Math Journal

Having smart kids that are capable of solving mathematical problems at school is a luck, helping them solve on their own is tough! There are many online books that will encourage your kids on solving math problems easily and all on their own, and here I will list the top five things any parent must consider before buying math journals online.

Seller reliability

With a huge number of online marketplaces, the most important thing is to make sure that you’ll really get the product as advertised. So, the first thing you should do before entering in any deal is to make sure that the seller company is not a scam.

You can figure out a company’s reliability by checking on their about and contact page. Reliable sellers have a contact page and showcase a number of pre-sold items.

Customer feedback

Reliable and serious sellers allow their customers to write and publish a text review about the seller and product. Consider checking out some of these reviews (if the seller disallows reviews, there’s most likely that it isn’t a reliable seller).

Author’s autobiography

As every written book is copyrighted and owned, the name of the author is always featured somewhere. Use your Internet to figure out about author’s education, graduations or anything math-related you can find. Sometimes on the back side of the book is published a short autobiography of the author.

Kid-friendly design and stimulative features

No matter how good the author has written on the book and what kind of the simplified methods author used to explain difficult mathematical theories if the design is not kid-friendly and its content does not stimulate the kids to understand them, it is not destined to turn out into a success.

An online math journal should be easy-to-understand for the children and rich in features. For example, I recently purchased a math journal titled student math journal grade 4 online and it does not delete the wrong-solved sentences but it marks them in red, this stimulates the kids to find the correct formula instead of ignoring it at all.

Your own research

The most important factor is always left to you. You can browse for tens of different math journals and teaching techniques, research about the seller, author, book, customer feedback and more. When you find out exactly what you wanted at the first place, it’s sure that’s what fits you best.
