New research released by Compare the Market has revealed how the cost and speed of broadband changes around the world:
The study reveals the average monthly cost, average download & upload speed, and the time it takes to download one hour of Netflix in 54 countries around the globe.
The UK ranks way down in position 27 for connection speed (55.14 Mbps) and 20th for average monthly cost (£31.27).
The findings showcase that the countries with the fastest average download speeds are:

- South Korea (114.31 Mbps)

The average cost of a broadband package varies a lot around the world, from just £10.29 a month in Israel to £124.11 in the UAE (£92.84 more than we pay here in the UK).
