A national social media poll has revealed the UK’s preferred beard fragrance oil scent in the run up to Valentine’s Day with the most popular being brought to life and created into a new product.
The poll, which was conducted by crafts supplier Cosy Owl, asked the public to submit the scents they would love their partners’ beard to smell of this Valentines Day. Smoky Fire Pit (30%) stole pole position, with a leather jacket scent a close second (25%), Musk (15%), Beer (15%), Pepperoni Pizza (5%), and finally Spruce (5%) also featuring in the top 6.
The creation of a new ‘smoky fire pit’ beard fragrance oil for Valentine’s Day is bound to have your partner smelling like a bonfire, if that’s what you are into. Whilst the smell of smoke is a quite strange scent to enjoy and one that causes debate, Cosy Owl is pleased to confirm that the demand for the smoky fire pit smell is high.

“People are trying all kinds of new crafts from home at the moment and beard oil is the next thing to create from home. When deciding our 2021 product range for the beard fragrance oils, we wanted to get the opinion of the public on which scents they would like to smell on their partners’ beard.
We have been looking for quirky and wonderful fragrances to add into our range, and as the smell of a smoky fire pit (30%) was voted as the most desirable beard oil scent this will now be added to our range as a new fragrance oil. It’s worth pointing out that the smell of a leather jacket was a close runners up (25%) which I guess is quite fitting for Valentines Day!”
