To find out, 888 Casino analysed over 100 TV show filming locations, looking at Google search volumes, social media data and Tripadvisor reviews to reveal the most popular spots for TV fans.
House of the Dragon’s Cáceres is the most popular film location to visit in the world, with a monthly search volume of 135,000 and 3,086 Tripadvisor reviews

Taking the top spot for the most popular film location is the fictional city of King’s Landing from House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones. With an average monthly search volume of 135,000, Cáceres has received the highest average Tripadvisor rating of five with 3,086 reviews. The city has also been posted 419,193 times via hashtags on Instagram and 41,600 videos on TikTok.
Other notable mentions include Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park from Virgin River, which rank second and third, respectively. Both natural landmarks have been popular on Tripadvisor, each boasting a 4.5-star rating. Grouse Mountain has garnered 5,371 reviews, while Capilano Suspension Bridge Park has an impressive 10,487 reviews.

Based on social media alone, the most popular filming location is Canmore, Canada, as seen in HBO’s The Last of Us. The makeshift Jackson setting has been posted under the location’s hashtag on Instagram 936,423 times, the largest of all the locations analysed, and on 37,300 TikTok posts.
Fisherman’s Wharf, which featured in Big Little Lies as a regular hangout spot for Madeline, Celeste and Jane, comes in second place as social media’s favourite spot. Snoqualmie, the picturesque town which partly serves as the fictional town of Twin Peaks comes in third.

The substantial monthly search volume for Holstens is the deciding factor that makes this diner the most popular restaurant turned film location, with an average of 22,200 global searches per month.
Bistro Terra Nera also makes the top five, regularly featured in Emily in Paris. The Italian restaurant, which doubles up as Gabriel’s restaurant in the Netflix show, has the highest number of Instagram hashtag mentions on the list.
