We offer unique places to stay and opportunities to explore the best of the British countryside. When you stay with us, you are helping transform young lives forever through travel and real adventure. We fund stays for families and young people facing adversity so that everyone has the chance to gain new confidence, new skills and a new perspective on the world.

We offer over 150 locations across England and Wales, so how do you choose where to start your next adventure? And how should you spend it? To try and break it down a little, we’re going to take a look at our camping and cabin options available throughout Wales.

We love the great outdoors and will grab any chance to be a little bit closer to nature. That’s why we offer so many fantastic Welsh camping destinations. But sometimes, packing and setting up a tent can be a bit of a hassle, so what is out there for sleeping under the stars without giving up your home comforts?

Our camping pods offer a perfect balance of comfort and luxury while enjoying a night outdoors. The solid timber construction offers the perfect outdoor shelter, with glass doors and a decking for stargazing at night. You can visit our cosy camping pods in YHA Betws-y-Coed or go for one of our larger camping pods in YHA Snowdon Llanberis and YHA Brecon Beacons.

If you still want the full camping feel without pitching your own tent, how about one of our premium bell tents? Keep the authenticity of sleeping under a traditional canvas but with the comfort of futon beds and a cosy integrated wood burner to keep you warm on those chilly nights. You’ll find our premium bell tents at YHA Broad Haven.

Looking for something totally unique? YHA Idwal Cottage has just the thing. Our timber constructed Anglesey huts offer comfort among nature for up to seven people. You can also gather around the table to plan the day’s adventures. Tuck into your bunks and close the shuttered windows for added privacy and protection from the elements.

When you stay in any of our camping and cabin options, you’ll have access to hostel facilities, including self-catering kitchens, lounge areas and toilets and washrooms.
