This is such a cute little song. I’m such a sucker for a Kool and the Gang style bass line too, and this has it.
The video, unsurprisingly, won the MTV Music Video award for Best Video in 2007. It’s such a simple concept, and yet it works amazingly well. The video includes a reference to The Buggles- Video Killed the Radio Star, and was shot and edited by French music video duo Jonas & Francois.
This song also reached number 4 on Rolling Stone magazines “100 Best Videos of 2007”
