Alien life has been found and contact has been made with planet Earth… or so it would appear.
The night sky consists of 10 billion galaxies, or to be more precise, 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars. According to a new report by thortful, aliens live amongst these stars and constellations – and even make regular visits to planet Earth.
Aliens, however, appear to be picky about their holiday destinations only appearing in the skies above certain cities.
To celebrate Halloween on the 31st October, thortful analysed data from the National UFO Reporting Centre, revealing the spookiest hotspots of the UK. Data was analysed from the years 1998 – 2023.

Data analysed from the National UFO Reporting Centre reveals that residents of London are the most likely to encounter alien life. Since 1998, London has been a hotbed of UFO activity, with a total of 89 documented sightings, firmly establishing itself as the epicentre of unexplained occurrences. The city’s rich history and bustling environment seem to attract the mysterious and otherworldly.
Following on from London’s paranormal prominence, the second most UFO-prone city in the UK is Manchester with 100 sightings, adding to the intrigue surrounding of the area. Manchester is known for its vibrant cultural scene, it now also a hotspot for unexplained happenings, leaving residents and visitors with unforgettable stories to tell.
In third position is Birmingham, with 76 documented sightings. The city’s industrial landscape now plays host to unexplained events that continue to captivate the minds of the curious.
