Actress and comedian Nina Wadia has revealed her new Tapi flooring. She wanted to brighten up her gorgeous kitchen by transitioning from her old laminate to dryback luxury vinyl (LVT) flooring.
Working with flooring experts at Tapi Carpets & Floors for her kitchen, the former Eastenders star chose Consilio – Dulcis Dryback LVT.
Speaking about her ideal kitchen flooring, Nina explained that she needs something that is easy to clean. “I have a hectic lifestyle, and I’m a messy cook, so I want a stick down version that I can clean easily, that won’t stain, or be problematic. I steam a lot so something that is moisture resistant!”
In terms of priorities, endurance was a key factor for Nina, “I’m looking for something smooth, hardwearing yet stylish. I have a dog and teenage kids, so a material and colour that suits us all is a necessity. The flooring should maximise the space of my kitchen as it’s an open plan to create an airy look.
For the colour, Nina was instantly drawn to the light shades of stick down LVT, as it will effortlessly blend into her kitchen.
Nina is super pleased with the transformation. “I love the authentic wood look and a pattern because I’ve never had that! The choice is exactly what I needed, durable and very easy to clean. It’s so amazing to see what a difference the flooring has to the overall kitchen, which we haven’t changed in 25 years, it instantly feels brighter, bigger and modern!”
