Even today his influence is obvious in most of the current generation of artists that we see on stage. In one way or the other, they have been inspired by David Bowie, mixed with several other music and style icons. But not only by his sound or style and also by his social heritage: Bowie was one of the first adventurers to sing about sexual freedom and drugs. The leader of the Irish band U2 even said he was the responsible for “a complete change of consciousness” in the United Kingdom, values that eventually spread across the world thanks to his music.
