UK waste company starts a special Valentine’s Day service for anyone whose love was wasted on an ex.
People can decide just how ‘rubbish’ a previous relationship was and choose the best size bin to dispose of it in (a bin bag, 120L waste bin, or 660L wheelie bin). They can pick their favourite message, add the name of their ex, and the postcard is ready! Your ex’s name has been placed on a waste bin across the UK and you can now see it on a postcard.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, waste management company BusinessWaste.co.uk is giving you the chance to get closure from a bad ex or put a smile on your best friend’s face with their ‘Bin Off Your Ex’ postcards.
Who says all postcards need to be sweet? If this helps people get over an ex easier or makes them laugh then who are we to judge?
There’s been over 2,000 submissions so far and we’ve put together a list of the top ten exes names sent to the trash (that were submitted the most).

Mark Hall, co-founder of BusinessWaste.co.uk, comments: “Valentine’s is far too focused on relationships and it’s one of the most dreaded times of the year for the single people or the ones that have just gone through a bad break up.
“One thing that connects most of us, however, is having had a bad relationship in the past that we can all laugh about now. And this ‘Bin Off Your Ex’ campaign celebrates just that!”
