As 10,732 people searched for staycations in the past 30 days alone, demand for UK breaks is beginning to increase for 2024. To combine style influence with travel popularity, luxury fashion brand Fairfax & Favor has put together an index to reveal the most fashionable cities for 2024.
If you are a fashion enthusiast, you must ensure to add these major cities to your UK travel list this year. The index looked at five key metrics including: number of fashion articles mentioning the cities, Pinterest searches for travel inspiration, Instagram fashion posts in the cities, average monthly searches for travel and hotels for each place. Each city was scored out of 100 to reveal the top ranking places.

Key findings include:
- Manchester was the most fashionable city to visit outside of London
- Although York ranked 11th, it was one of the most popular destinations on Pinterest
- Glasgow ranked 10th but was one of the most popular cities for Instagram fashion posts
- Liverpool and Manchester had the highest number of fashion press articles mentioning the cities outside of London
