Until I had joined twitter in 2009 I had never had a digital friendship, now I have some that purely exist online. I also have friendships that I’ve had for years and years and now they have the added online part to them, I can keep up with what they are doing via their Facebook uploads for example. When we meet up I can say that I’ve seen the family party photos and I can talk about what they’ve been doing in real time. The same goes for them with me. There are now the friendships that I’ve made that have started online and gone from digital to real friendships. From tweet ups for birthday parties.
The very lovely people at Goodfella’s Pizzas UK sent me a Chillax Pack to promote the idea that you don’t have to keep friendships purely online. I had a huge box of goodies arrive from Goodfellas UK including a voucher to get my own pizza from their new Extra Thin range. There was wine, candles, a CD, a bottle opener, a disposable camera and a pizza stone!
We were having friends round anyway that we hadn’t seen in a while, actually we had been mostly catching up online. Perfect for this Chillax pack and what Goodfellas were trying to promote. The pack was superb and the pizza was absolutely yum. I’ve bought more since and I have to say I do prefer thin pizzas… is that weird? Anyway I do.

I was a bit disappointed that they only came in three flavours and I hope they plan to extend the range. In order of my favourites it would be Vegetable & Goats Cheese, Pepperoni & Chorizo and then the Mozzarella & Pesto. I’d love a Ham & Pineapple one and a Seafood choice.
They are available in Tesco’s, Morrisons, ASDA and Sainbury’s. I bought mine in Tesco’s and grumbled at the way they were displayed, see pic below. Yes I’m a grumpy woman but surely as there are three pizzas it’s clear they could all go on one shelf? No? Hmm. Weird.
So when are you going to plan a real life catch up with your digital friends? I know just the pizza 😉
