The persistent march of technological innovation has lead to a dramatic improvement in smartphone technology over the years, with technologically sophisticated offerings from Apple, Google and Samsung to name a few. Now, Google is stepping up to the mark with its latest wonder-product for tech-hungry consumers- the Android Kitkat 4.4. The Android Kitkat is the most high-tech smartphone to date, and brings new meaning to the word ‘simplicity’. With all manner of features rolled up neatly in one neat, sleek looking package, and an emphasis on voice control, the Kitkat is cutting edge. Read on to find out more.
Advanced Voice Control
Without a doubt technology-wise, one of the most impressive features of the Android Kitkat is the cutting-edge voice recognition technology that it boasts. If, for example, you’re on the homescreen of your Kitkat and want to play a song, all you need to do is say ‘Ok Google’ and then you can ask your phone to find you a song, find directions, perform a search or even send a text message. This amazing technology means that the amount of manual tapping and typing you have to do is dramatically reduced, freeing you up to complete tasks quickly when you’re on the go.
Impressive Screen Art
When you’re not actively searching for something or performing a task on your Kitkat, you can let it idle and soak up the extraordinarily high quality, high-resolution images on your phone. If you’re listening to music, you can see crisp, hi-definition cover art images that are only possible because of the high processing power and graphics capabilities of the Kitkat- so there’s a way for you to relax and appreciate art all through your phone!
High-focus reading capabilities
If you want to take some time out to read a chapter from your latest novel or play an interactive video game, this can all be done with your Kitkat. The best part about it is that the Kitkat hides all status bars, arrows and other obtrusions that would otherwise distract you- so you can put all your energy into doing what you want to do. There’s really no better way to lose yourself in the doing of a task or hobby.
Multi-Tasking Heaven
Because of the incredible processing power and system memory of the Kitkat, loading your favourite apps and programs and using the touchscreen to navigate is literally a breeze. The loading time is minimal, and Kitkat will remember your earlier choices so that with a little use, you can quickly access the things Kitkat knows you want to access without long loading times or other fuss and bother. You can also switch between Apps quickly and with ease, so it’s a perfect device for the avid multi-tasker.
Other Great Features of the Kitkat
The thing about the Kitkat is that it really is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to performing any task, so its list of features just goes on and on. But to get to some of the most stand-out elements of the Kitkat, you can print by linking up to any printer by simply selecting the print option on a device, your caller id settings will try to match unknown numbers against known directory listings, you can use all sorts of easy-to-access, interesting emoticons in conversations and you can upload and transmit files wherever you want, whenever you want. It might also help to have good laptop on hand for when you need access to a keyboard, as it can sink your phone. Rent laptop options are a good choice if you don’t have a good portable computer already. But back to the Kitkat, did you know it also has amazing processing power and can organise your contacts based on frequency of contact, things on common, your relationship to them and so on.
At the end of the day, with all the amazing things it does, you’d be silly not to be giving serious consideration to the Kitkat when you go to make your next leap in technological gadgetry!
