Facebook Toolbox For SMB’s

Facebook isn’t just for friends anymore. Businesses are capitalizing on its many features that are designed to connect entrepreneurs with potential customers and clients. When Facebook first started adding “Like” pages, it didn’t take long for them to realize the major benefits that businesses could gain by using their platform. Since that time, the mega social media giant has continued to create new and innovative tools to help businesses reach out.

Call to Action Tabs

With the addition of new “Call To Action” tabs, potential customers can directly contact the business they are seeing online. They now have the option to call the business, send a message or contact them through their company email. This gives new customers a chance to do everything at one time instead of having to take several steps and more clicks to reach the same destination.

It is a proven fact that the more a person has to do to get to where they want to be, the less likely they are to move forward. When a person visits a business’ page on Facebook, they may not choose to go much further if they have to grab their phone or go to their email to send a message. The Call to Action tabs allows them to do everything they need to without leaving the page. They can call, message or write a review in a matter of minutes instead of wasting time trying to follow a long list of steps.

Shop

Businesses are also allowed to have online shops directly attached to their Facebook profile. Customers don’t have to go from web page to web page to see what the business has to offer. Everything is available in one convenient location. Facebook’s new partnership with Shopify allows customers to buy directly from the Facebook page, making online shopping easier and more efficient than ever before.

Shopify offers pictures and descriptions of each item listed, along with its price and shipping and handling information. Payments are easily made and transactions are secured through the Shopify system. Customers can use credit/debit cards or have the funds deducted from their Paypal account.

Services

The Services section of the business page is dedicated to providing an accurate and detailed listing of what the company has to offer. The business can choose to build the page however, they choose as long as it conforms with Facebook’s parameters. The Services page is designed so the company can add images that show exactly what the company is all about.

Messenger Assistant

“M” is the new Facebook Messenger assistant. It is manned by Facebook employees who have been highly trained in customer service. When a client or potential customer sends the business a private message, the “trainer” has been taught how to respond to each request. The assistant uses artificial intelligence. Trainers use the system to help clients do any number of activities. They can assist with making travel plans or setting up appointments.

Facebook tools for SMB’s are revolutionizing social media. Who ever thought running a business could be this much fun?.
