The Maldives is the top long-haul honeymoon destination, with 22,800 annual Google searches and a 37% increase in bookings, attracting couples with its luxury overwater villas and crystal-clear waters.
Sri Lanka is second, with a 124% increase in bookings, thanks to its affordable luxury, stunning scenery, and rich culture. Couples can relax on Mirissa’s shores, visit Kandy’s temples, or go on wildlife safaris in Yala National Park.
Puerto Rico ranks third, having seen a 100% increase in bookings Its affordable luxury, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful landscapes have made it a popular destination for newlyweds. The island offers beaches, rainforests, charming Old San Juan, luxury resorts, bioluminescent bays, and exquisite cuisine.
