Next launches new home workout hub in collaboration with Nike accredited trainers Naomi Heffernan and Ben Gregory

In the last few years home workouts have become more prevalent than ever before, and it seems that even post-lockdown they are here to stay.

But working out from home can be harder than working out in the gym since you don’t get the same rush of motivation that you get when you enter the gym floor, nor do you get the guidance from personal trainers.

In response to this common issue, Next has partnered with home workout gurus Naomi Heffernan and Ben Gregory to create the Nike workout hub loaded with exclusive workout videos, guidance, and advice for those of all ages and fitness levels.

You can view the Nike workout hub here: https://www.next.co.uk/branded/nike-home-workouts

Working out from home with Nike x Next

According to Global Data[i], 52% of the UK have been doing home workouts since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. This is further supported by Google search data[ii] which shows that working out from home (+50%) is continuing to win over the gym (-13%) for many.

In fact, 76% of UK consumers who have done home workouts since last March say that they will continue to do them post pandemic. And why wouldn’t they, not only are they able to be done in the comfort of your own home, but you’re also able to fit them around your own routine.

But even working out from home could be costing many people an unnecessary amount of money as 53% say they have bought home workout products to improve their performance. And while looking great while working out is still a must – even for home workouts – paying for the workout shouldn’t be.

Next is giving users free access to expert knowledge and exclusive guided workouts via Nike trainers Naomi Heffernan and Ben Gregory on the newly launched Nike workout hub.

The videos already live online include women’s HIIT and couples’ yoga with further videos set to land on workout styling and men’s workouts in the coming weeks.
